Modular Anodized Aluminum Frame System by DeepStream Designs for Mounting Solar Panels on Boats.
Mariners and home owners now have the ability to quickly add a large array of rigid slide-on / slide-off solar panels of any brand without the need for an expensive Stainless Steel frame. Our affiliated company, DeepStream Designs, has been using marine-anodized 6063 aluminum extrusions for large modular outdoor security screen wall and planter systems for almost two decades. Now we offer extrusions up to 18 feet long that allow the do-it-yourself mariner a relatively inexpensive way to replace a cloth bimini with Miami-Dade Hurricane Code Certified solar panels at a fraction the cost of other systems.
The system shown above uses an 18′ one piece horizontal extrusion and 4 upright that combines space for 4 X 440 Watt 41V solar panels feeding 4 X 430 watt Lithium Ion batteries with a dinghy lift / Starlink mounting extension aft.
